This week I started by switching on the Christmas lights in Groby and I would like to wish all Mid Leicestershire's residents a happy start to Advent.
I then launched my winter crime survey and invited residents to participate to enable me to better understand the crime issues in your locality.
I then spent some time with Andy’s men club who campaign for men's health, a subject which is all too often overlooked and needs to be promoted.
I also learnt more about prostate cancer UK and their campaign for FASTER, FAIRER and BETTER prostate cancer diagnosis.
I spoke at Leicestershire County Council about labour’s harsh farm tax and how it will devastate the farmers of this country.
On Thursday I raised the concerns, in the bills committee, of the impact on small and medium sized businesses because of the government's rushed employments bill.
