On Friday 5th April Peter met with Police & Crime Commissioner, Rupert Matthews, in Rothley to raise the issue of rural crime and the need for greater police presence across our villages.
Speaking at the meeting Peter said
Many residents have contacted me about the rise in attempted burglaries across the Rothley area. Our rural committees require more visible policing and I am pleased that Rupert has committed to making this happen.
