On Friday 10th May Peter met with Julian Everard, Chairman of Everards Brewery, to discuss what more Government could be doing to support local businesses.
Meeting at the bio-diverse, and environmental haven, that is 'Everard Meadows' Peter took on board a number of ideas being put forward by SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers).
Speaking after his tour Peter said
I would like to thank Everards for inviting me today and for taking me through the challenges and opportunities for independent brewers.
I am very much alligned with the business' ethos of promoting community based pubs that benefit their local areas.
It is important that Government does all it can to further support businesses to expand, thrive and contribute to the local economy
