Groby Scarecrow Competition
Peter joined local County Councillor Ozzy O’Shea today to enjoy the delights of Groby Scarecrow Competition. The event, organised by Bradgate Rotary Club, saw 28 entries across the village.
Speaking at the event Peter said:
“It’s great to see the community coming together for a bit fun. I have really enjoyed seeing all the creative scarecrows… but my particular favourite was Mr Gingerbread Man!”
Groby joins several villages across the Mid Leicestershire area that have held their own scarecrow events during the summer.
